Fundamentals of a Replicated Site

The term replicated site is not new to any MLM marketer. Replicated websites occupy an important place in MLM marketing and are considered an integral part of MLM marketing. But what is a self-replicating website? How is it different from a regular website? Why is it an important part of MLM marketing? This article will try to explore some of the fundamental questions related to MLM marketing and the use of these websites. Let’s start at the beginning:

What is a replicated site?

Simply put, a replicated site is a website template that can be duplicated and distributed. These sites can also be tailored according to the users’ need. Though all duplicated sites look the same, users have the opportunity to personalize them by including their names, contact information and also sharing links to social networking sites.

While using a replicating site, MLM distributors need to remember that these websites are just a technical solution to help them boost their confidence and market their solution faster.  A replicated site is always linked with the company site.

Since a replicated website is a duplication of the original corporate website, it has the same layout, color and logo as the actual site. It is always pre-branded and it functions as an extension of the corporate website.

Auto responders

An auto responder and a replicated site are intimately related. Autoresponders are evoked as soon as a visitor hits the “submit” button on the lead capture form. Auto responders are automated, pre-drafted email messages that a distributor uses to keep in touch with his leads. Autoresponders can be created and saved for future use.

Research shows that a lead needs to be contacted seven to ten times before it is converted. A distributor generates a large number of leads every day. It is impossible for him to follow up with them on a regular basis. An auto responder performs this job for him. Instead of individually answering each visitor that filled in the lead capture form, an autoresponder email is automatically sent to the lead.

Replicating sites and lead generation

Let’s concentrate on the most important aspect of sites of this kind - attracting leads. A network marketer can include links to his social networking sites in the replicating website. This will help him to get traffic via social networking sites and will also make his site look more credible.  A network marketer can write blogs or article to create interest about his product/service and drive traffic to his website. Once a visitor comes to the website, the marketer can further entice him with more information about the product, customer testimonials and encourage him to fill out the form.

A replicated website creates a sense of uniformity among distributors. All duplicated sites look alike yet they contain each distributor’s personal contact information. These sites also include a wide range of features that help distributors prospect, present and follow up with the leads while managing and optimizing their website for more conversions.
